Awaken AI is a gamified productivity and self-improvement app that helps users turn goals into plans, quests, streaks, reviews, recovery steps, stats, and companion-style progression.
1. Information We Collect
Account and profile information
- Email address, username/codename, authentication identifiers, and account metadata.
- Profile settings, companion selections, app preferences, notification settings, and Strict Mode settings.
Goal, plan, quest, and progress information
- Goals, prompts, project titles, project descriptions, generated plans, quests, quest status, completion history, missed quests, XP, levels, streaks, stats, weekly review inputs, and recovery inputs.
- Manual quests, calendar/scheduling information, and app activity needed to show your plan and progress.
Files and AI context
- If you attach files for plan generation, we process the file name, file type, file size, file content, and extracted context needed to generate or improve a plan.
- Do not upload content you do not have permission to use or information you do not want processed by the Service and its providers.
Purchase and subscription information
- We use RevenueCat and Apple's in-app purchase system to process subscription status, product identifiers, entitlement status, renewal/expiration signals, purchase history needed to unlock Pro, and restore purchases.
- We do not receive or store your full payment card details from Apple.
Device, diagnostics, and analytics information
- Device type, operating system, app version, crash logs, performance logs, diagnostics, error events, feature usage, paywall events, onboarding events, and other app analytics.
- We may collect identifiers used by our analytics, crash reporting, authentication, billing, and backend providers to operate the Service.
Website analytics and consent
When you allow analytics on getawakenai.com, Google Analytics may collect the pages you visit, referral source, browser and device information, approximate location, and interactions such as clicks to the App Store. The website does not send your Awaken AI goals, quests, or account content to Google Analytics. Advertising storage and advertising personalization are disabled on this website.
You can allow, decline, or change website analytics at any time using the analytics choices control below.
2. How We Use Information
- create and authenticate your account;
- generate AI plans, quests, reviews, recovery steps, and related coaching-style content;
- store and display your projects, quests, progress, companions, stats, and settings;
- process subscriptions, unlock Pro access, enforce usage limits, and restore purchases;
- send authentication emails, account messages, support responses, and important service notices;
- debug crashes, improve reliability, measure app usage, prevent abuse, and protect the Service;
- comply with legal, security, platform, and payment obligations.
3. AI Processing
When you request AI features, your prompt, selected project context, quest history, and uploaded file content may be sent to our backend and AI providers so the Service can generate a plan, review, recovery protocol, or related response. AI output may be inaccurate or unsuitable for your circumstances, and you are responsible for reviewing it before acting.
4. Service Providers and Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information with service providers only as needed to operate, secure, measure, and improve Awaken AI. These providers may include:
- Supabase for authentication, database, storage, and Edge Functions;
- Google Sign-In for login and Apple for App Store purchases;
- RevenueCat for subscription entitlement management and purchase status;
- PostHog for product analytics;
- Google Analytics for consent-based website traffic and App Store click measurement;
- Sentry for crash reporting and diagnostics;
- AI infrastructure providers for plan generation, review, recovery, and coaching features;
- Cloudflare for website hosting and security;
- email infrastructure providers for authentication and service emails.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, to investigate abuse, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
We keep account and app data while your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can delete your account in the app or request deletion through getawakenai.com/delete-account. Account deletion is intended to remove your profile, projects, quests, progress, inventory/companions, and login account from active systems.
Some limited information may be retained for a reasonable period where necessary for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, payment records, backups, dispute handling, or platform obligations. Backup and log deletion may take additional time.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including hosted backend services, access controls, and secure transport where supported. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Choices
- You can edit your profile/codename in the app.
- You can manage or cancel App Store subscriptions through your Apple Account settings.
- You can request account deletion from inside the app or through our public deletion page.
- You can choose not to upload files or not to use optional AI features.
- You can allow, decline, or change website analytics through the analytics choices control on the website.
- You can contact us with privacy questions or deletion requests.
8. Children
Awaken AI is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
9. International Processing
We and our providers may process information in countries other than your country of residence. Data protection laws may differ from those in your location.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date when changes are made. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice through the app, website, or other reasonable means.
